Finca Calma –
Quiet finca with pool near Artà in Mallorca
Finca Calma is a private finca in the rustic area on Camí de Carrossa near Artà in northeastern Mallorca. It stands on 30,000 m² of private land and can accommodate up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms.
With this finca, we fulfilled a dream. It's located in the Rustica area, where Mallorca ceases to be noisy: no direct neighbors, no through traffic... It gave itself its name — calma, the peace.
In Mallorca, "rustica" refers to an area characterized by agriculture and forestry, located outside of towns. Houses stand freely in the landscape, on large plots of land, without neighbors within sight.
Where the finca is located
From Palma Airport, it's about a 40-minute drive to Artà. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes away. A rental car is recommended.
Terrace and pool
The terrace measures 200 square meters and faces south—the sun stays there all day. The pool is all yours. No shared pool, no reserving loungers at seven in the morning, nobody but you. The aluminum loungers are light enough that you can easily carry them wherever the sun is: to the pool, onto the terrace, or into the shade of the olive trees.
The outdoor kitchen
On the back terrace stands a wood-fired barbecue barrel, grilling on a Corten steel plate. No gas, no push of a button. It takes an hour for the fire to get ready—and that's precisely the point.
